A march in support of Pakistani neuro-scientist Dr Aafia Siddiqui,who was ‘unlawfully’ imprisoned in the United states for 86 years, will start this afternoon, in Johannesburg.
Spokesman for the free Aafia campaign in South Africa, Inayet Wadee, says activists will be protesting outside the US Consulate in Johannesburg.
‘‘Inshallah after Jumah, we shall start our march in search of justice for our dear sister Dr.Aafia Siddiqui who was unlawfully sentenced for a crime she did not do’’ he said.

Today’s March coincides with the Global March to Jerusalem, which is an international mobilisation calling for the freedom of Jerusalem from Zionists.
